Transdisciplinary Humanities

Sookmyung Research Institute of Humanities' professional journal titled 『Transdisciplinary Humanities (founded on February 28, 2018)』
is published at the end of February, June, and October each year. The journal is based on Literature,
History, Philosophy, Art, and Culture and interacts with the fields of studies outside Humanities
for traversal studies beyond the departmental barriers.

The first issue of Sookmyung Research Institute of Humanities' periodical 『Transdisciplinary Humanities (Editor Ji Hyung Lee, Professor of Japanese Studies)』 was published on February 28, 2018.

『Transdisciplinary Humanities』 is an academic periodical published at the end of February, June, and October each year and contains interdisciplinary and convergent theses based on different areas of Humanities, such as Literature, Language, History, Philosophy, and Culture.

It particularly contains the outcome of "At the Frontline of Humanities: Challenges for the Future," which was the topic of the academic seminar held for the foundation of the Institute in June 2017. Although it is the first issue, 16 theses of scholars were submitted to represent the academic interests in the new journal, and a total of eight theses have been published through a fair procedure and strict deliberation. .
